Imagine knowing that your future could change in an instant. Nicole Sedore is living with an
inoperable brain aneurysm that could rupture at any time, with potentially fatal consequences. But
the suffering doesn’t stop with Nicole. Her children live with the terrifying uncertainty that their
mother could suddenly die. This is the reality described by so many people who say they have been
injured following Covid-19 vaccination — physical suffering, psychological suffering, and the
devastating uncertainty of what tomorrow may bring. And yet, some voices have characterized
these outcomes as “unfortunate, but necessary.” For families living through this, those words carry
an unimaginable weight. Nicole’s testimony forces us to confront the human consequences behind
statistics, policies and public-health decisions. At the Allison Inquiry, witnesses are sharing what
happened to them and their families — and asking whether Canadians were given all of the
information they needed to make informed decisions. Their stories deserve to be heard. Their
suffering deserves to be documented. And the questions deserve to be asked. Individual witness
testimonies from the Allison Inquiry are now available at http://allisoninquiry.com/hearings
