A New Cohort Begins in Monterey County!
This week, we welcomed a new cohort of county professionals to the CSAC Institute Executive
Credential Program in Monterey County!
The program kicked off with Leadership Fundamentals, facilitated by Paul Danczyk. Participants
spent the day exploring the foundations of leadership, reflecting on their own experiences, and
connecting with colleagues they’ll be learning alongside throughout the program.
We were also joined by four alumni from last year’s Monterey County cohort for a leadership
panel: Alexis De La Torre, Supervising Child Support Officer; Monica S. Hale, Policy
Analyst; Elvira Jackson, Supervising Legal Secretary; and Nicole Martinez, Sheriff-
Coroner. The panel gave our new cohort the opportunity to hear directly from fellow Monterey
County professionals about their leadership experiences, lessons they’ve learned along the way,
and their experience completing the Executive Credential Program.
Having alumni return to share their perspectives was a great way to start the new cohort and
connect this year’s participants with those who have already been through the program.
Thank you to our Monterey County partners, alumni, and participants for a great launch! We’re
looking forward to another year of learning together.
